I really like this book, it took me some time to finish it, but it definitely worth it.
First, the concept and the perspective of the book is really unique, when I am reading it I realize there are so many things going on in this book, you must pay attention when you are reading it.

When I was reading it, I highly relate to the story, I felt it reflects the society in a really interesting way. This is a little bit off topic but personally, I think (where I come from) the young generations don’t really know or care about the old tradition, religion, and culture that much, and a lot of them are dying just like the old gods. On the other hand, Internet, Media, technology is replacing the social and etc. are replacing the status of the old tradition religion and so on. Right now, people are posting everything about their life on the internet, and a lot of people’s lives are depending on it, and it makes me felt like it is not just a tool we can use to make our life more convenient, it’s like the opposite, the internet is controlled our life.


I felt the Neil portrait the gods in a really human way, they are really close to us, they have their life and they are trying to figure how to survive in this world

This week I read the Hobbit. This week is about a heroic journey. Bilbo Baggins is definitely not a typical hero. He is more like we don't have any special powers as a hobbit. But in the whole novel, we can see the change. Bilbo Baggins is on a journey of self-discovery, uncovering unknown talents and overcoming dangers throughout the mission. The Hobbit is an adventure story that exemplifies the journey of a classic hero. In the traditional template, the hero begins with an ordinary life, and this place will remain in the journey. The protagonist is asked to take action or leave the family mentioned above. Along the way, the hero encountered a mentor and was tested by the enemy. What is your reaction to the text you just read? First I was confused after I finished reading it I really don’t like it. The story itself it’s pretty interesting I just can’t imagine how human and a creature   T’ Gatoi are able to live together and knowing what T’Gatoi wants from a human. It Just reminds me of a movie called Evolution the idea of letting a young boy whose turn has come to carry the eggs of T’ Gatoi it’s really similar. What Connections did you make with the story? Discuss the elements of the world with which you were able to connect? I don’t really connect to the story but the relationship between the characters are pretty messed up. I just felt T’ Gatoi used human as a tool for their reproduction and food.
